A New Year's Eve Wedding!
Looks like I am going to be spending New Years at a wedding with over 400 invited guests . This is the biggest wedding I have ever shot in the history of JoBenavi Photography since June. I went online and spent a few 1,000 bucks for a special universal zoom lens because I know for a fact this wedding is going to be the busiest and last one of the year. I am bringing my girlfriend along since I want her to be with me during the countdown to 2010 ! Wish me luck everyone!!

Christmas Photos !!
I have officially quit working for the old company that helped me grow during some tough times. I really appreciate all the help that I got from them unfortunately I cannot be in two places at once, while my business grows and flourishes others burn out and crumble and I do not want to be a part of a company without Good morals and good quality service . My business is my baby and it should come first in matters of financial prosperity.
Saturday December 19th was the last and final day to take Christmas pictures . My first client came in to take some shots of herself and her beautiful baby! She was so fussy , crying and moving . What I did was talk to the little baby as I cooed praised her many times she was able to settle down for a picture . This is what came out of her session.

So sorry..
Hey everyone I am back I got caught up with work but what better way to get back on track and blogging than to blog during the most busiest season of my career. Two weddings , five family shoots and two day cares kept me on top this month alone! I will post some new pics soon ..oh and I have something really cool to show everyone. So I had somebody from the Welding department give me a call about shooting some commercial stuff for their promotional piece , encouraging individuals to study Arc Welding.

Family Portrait Saturday
Every two weeks for JoBenavi is Family Portrait Saturday . Families from all over the valley get a chance to take advantage of our 10x13 promotion that only costs them $20 ! They get an ultimate indoor studio session and have the opportunity to order more pictures !
I stayed up all night admiring my technique and quality while I changed up some pictures for show. I basically retouch all of my images and since I love to paint as it relaxes me , I decided to paint up this one to show you what type of quality I am talking about. I want everyone to have a chance to get pictures like this taken no matter what class any family is in . I believe every family deserves high quality images of their loved ones and for a cheap price you would be likely to pay for a "snapshot" at Wal - **** or S***s.

Modeling Shoot "Belen"
Belen was a beautiful person to work with, her wit and charm and the fact that she is a friend of the family made these pictures as unique as they are. Belen had gone to countless photographers around Texas but none of them seemed to satisfy her tastes. She needed some pictures to send to Missy's modeling studio of the Valley and I was honored to be chosen to shoot her portfolio . I was floored when told that my images to her looked like they came from a magazine! This is just the beginning.

Bobbi Jo & Dustin Wedding
Hello everyone , my name is Jorge Benavides , aka , JoBenavi and this is my first blog on behalf of my growing photography business. My photography consists of many creative aspects in visual perception and art. I shoot weddings, quinceañeras and studio portraits. One of my favorite things about photography is the ability to mimick or control the use of light in my shots.
On Saturday July 11th 2009 , I shot a wedding at South Padre Island . It was incredbly hot that day around the 100's and as we waited outside on the beach for the bride and groom to get ready there were literally thousands of beach goers having some fun in the sun. These shots were well worth the wait .

A tender moment between two lovers on their most anticipated day.
